Program

The study of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour (PNB) can be completed at McMaster University either through the Faculty of Social Sciences or the Faculty of Science. The Mental Health Specialization within the PNB program offers students a curriculum designed to study the genetic, neural, and cognitive processes underlying mental illnesses. Core PNB courses remain the same for the Mental Health specialization but there are more mandatory courses that are curated to better understand mental disorders.

Our Society

The PNB Mental Health society is a subdivision of the McMaster Science Society. We are a collective of 15 students in the program who aim to bring a sense of community within the cohorts by enhancing student experience through hosting socials and providing both resources and academic events to help students succeed in the specialization.
