PNB 3QM3 and Thesis

Hey There

A 3QM3 is a research project within the mental health field under the supervision of a faculty member within the mental health community. This course can only be taken by PNB – Mental Health students and cannot be taken with PNB 3QQ3 as they are anti-requisites. These placements can be done with professors are McMaster or clinical psychologists at St. Joseph's hospital.

Your thesis can be with any supervisor, even if it is not mental health related. In addition, there are various mental health research opportunities outside of PNB such as Health Science professors, Kinesiology Professors, or St. Joseph's clinical psychologists. PNB 4D09 requires students to submit and present poster presentations at the end of the year will be mandatory. Moreover, for 4D09 you would contribute ~15 hours a week. Mental health students are required to take PNB 4D09.
