Tips for Second-Year Courses

  • PNB 2XB3 - Neuroanatomy & Neurophysiology

    • Take detailed notes during lectures​

    • Homework assignments are a great way to test your understanding

      • Attend NC sessions for some extra help ​

    • Take advantage of the study guides for the midterm and exam

  • PNB 2XD3 - Integrative PNB Through Scientific Writing

    • Practice weekly writing and follow the Logic, Clarity, Grammar, and Style rules outlined in lectures

    • Understand the content before you begin writing about it

      • Outlines and mindmaps are very helpful!​

    • Attend IM sessions for help on any writing assignment

    • "You will need to fail before you begin to succeed."

  • PNB 2XE3 - Descriptive Statistics & Research Methods

    • Understand all the formulas and how to use them​

    • ​Take advantage of R for calculations​

      • Tutorials are helpful for learning all you need to know​

    • Do practice questions from the textbook
